EVOC High Speed ETC System Solution
ETC, also known as Electronic Toll Collection System, is an electronic toll collection system widely used internationally in highways, bridges, tunnels, and parking lots. With the development of the economy and the increase in car ownership, congestion on highways in China has increased. In order to reduce traffic congestion and facilitate people's travel, China has recently introduced intensive policies to promote the installation and application of ETC, greatly improving the existing infrastructure capacity of highways, and initially building a basic framework for digitalization, networking, and intelligence of Chinese highways, laying a solid foundation for China to move towards smart highways. The entire application system includes the provincial networking center, regional networking center, and highway section, and Yike mainly provides solutions for this part of the highway section.
Information acquisition. By using the front-end camera to obtain vehicle and owner information, the front-end Advantech front-end industrial control equipment preprocesses the data and transmits it to the back-end for analysis and storage.
Data analysis. Adopting a billion gram 2U Purley platform server, equipped with one T4 GPU card and a maximum expandable dual full height GPU card, it provides powerful image recognition and analysis capabilities, achieving second level response, reducing the time required for car owners to pass through toll booths, and effectively avoiding congestion caused by slow toll collection.
Data storage. After data analysis and processing, the data is cold stored on the Purley platform server with billions of grams of 2U12 disks, and the underlying layer uses Raid technology for data integrity protection.
Through the intelligent upgrade of the toll collection system by billions of grams, the county has successfully achieved comprehensive ETC at high-speed toll stations, greatly reducing the waiting time and toll collection process for car owners, and providing them with a good driving experience; At the same time, it effectively avoids the phenomenon of highway congestion and keeps the road unobstructed.
